Darlin' Marlin

Our dear friend Madeline, gave him this nick name and we have been using it ever since.  This post is for those of you who just want more pictures of the million(s) dollar baby.

This one is for all the Spartans out there!  Thanks Uncle Brad and Aunt Kim for the great hat.
Mom bought him this outfit.  I think it it is adorable even if he looks like Johnny Cash in it.

I love this picture.  I believe he is saying, "Look out world, here I am!"

There Is No Place Like Home

After 94 days in the NICU, 3 surgeries (one was Thor's), 5 more days at RMH, and endless prayers we made it home to Idyllwild.  This last month has flown by.  Mom was here for the first two weeks (thank God) and we have been managing on our own for the last two.   I think we are starting to get a little routine.  I have started working a few hours a week because I need to hire my staff for the Spring.  It is a good way to ease in to going back to work full time.  Here are a few pictures of the last month.  As you can see, Gus is an amazing big brother.  He is so happy to have us all back home together.

My staff made this poster for us to welcome us home.  It was awesome.

Don't know how we would have done it with out Nonni and Grandma

Home Away From Home

As I mentioned, we stayed at the RMH for a few extra days.  It was great, we had a little time with Marlin to get to know him better before we went home to Idyllwild.

Heading "Home"

Three days after the boys had surgery, they let us leave the hospital.  Thor still had a soft cast on and Marlin was still grumpy that more people had been touching his junk.  Overall, we were very excited to leave the NICU.  We still stayed at the RMH for 5 more days because of the follow up appointments we had.  However, it was great to pick our baby up and not have any alarms or beeps or wires to worry about.  A little scary, but great.

At RMH, sleeping peacefully.
