Random March Pictures

These are few random pictures of Gus.  We really have been having great weather (60-70's during the day) since the last snow storm.  Lots of time outside which is very good for a 3 almost 4 year old.

Thor and Gus made this little balsa airplane and he has been flying it like crazy.

Tuckered out after jumping for hours!

Dreaming of having his pee wee 50 and becoming a famous Enduro racer!

St. Patty's Day

Gus learned at the library that if you don't wear green on St. Patrick's Day, people can pinch you.  That is all he needed to hear, he wrote off the whole day and refused to get out of his jammies or leave the house.  So I dressed up Marlin and celebrated with him.  Thanks Aunt Paulette and Uncle Ralph for the cute outfit.

He was very interested in the daffodils.

Are we done now?

Our Little Hopper

Gus and I have been watching some ballets on video and then last week we went to see a dance concert at the local high school.  This school is a special private school where all the kids sing, dance or act.  He is all about jumping like they do.  Also, my assistant, Chris has been coaching him on how to jump really high.  As you can see, he has the hang of it.

Notice the fireman boots. According to Gus, they make you jump higher.

He is doing a split jump.  This is where you jump in a slpit and touch your toes.  He is actually pretty good. My pictures don't really do it justice.

A little Leone

As some of you know, it is a Leone family tradition to have your picture taken on either a pink or blue blanket while naked when you are 6 months old.  It took Marlin a little longer to be able to lay on his belly and push his head up.  However, I waited about a week too long because he figured out how to role over and would not stay on his belly while I was trying to take the picture.  I finally gave up and went with the one of him on his back because he is just too cute!

Sledding in the back 40

Thor and Gus have been grooming this sled run.  It goes for about 100 ft.  He had a lot of fun on it.  Our friends, Nayah and Lhasa came over to sled too.

Couli sledding (sledding on your rear end) was all the rage this snow storm.  The kids didn't want to use the sleds too much.  They found that they could go just as fast on their bottoms.

Nayah and Gus snow train

All tuckered out, ready to go back to the house.

First we had to gather up our pigmy polar bear.  She was enjoying the sun and snow as much as us.

Random February Pictures

We had a lot of fun in February.  Here are a few pictures from our silly times.

Rock Star Gus!
Looking cool in his shades, man-jammies and fireman boots.  Oh, don't forget Mommy's necklace.

Thor has started training Gus on the care and feeding of a Marlin.  He needs all the time he can get to work on those old Huskies!

This one makes his Mama proud!  He was describing how Humpbacks breach out of the water.

We don't have too many pictures of the two of them.  Even though this one is a little out of focus, I still love it.
Gus in his "chomping alligator" shirt from Aunt Patty.  He loves it!

He looks so ready, for what, we are not sure!

Gus and Thor are growing a garden this Spring.  They planted catnip (no we do not have a cat, but Gus thought the Mountain Lions might enjoy it), carrots, watermelons, Foxglove, and Cosmos.  Thor let Gus pick out the seeds.
