New Bike
So after riding a motorcycle for over a year, Gus finally got a pedal bike. Gram Ju Ju and Grandpa Dean gave it to him. It took him all of about a week to get rid of the training wheels for good. He amazes me. His balance is great and he loves it.The first night he kept saying "this is fun, this is really fun!"
San Diego Wild Animal Park
The day before Gus' birthday (Mother's Day this year), we went to the animal park. Just Gus and I went because it was supposed to be quite hot. It is laid out with hot days and kids in mind. They have multiple playgrounds and with features for the kids to play. It was one of the best Mother's day I have had. Gus was an angel all day and we had a blast. Here are a bunch of pictures.

Gus' Kids Birthday Party
So the birthday season has started... We had Gus' birthday for his friends at the play ground in town. The kids played for three hours straight. It was a wonderful spring day and we all had fun.

May Race
The May race fell on my birthday weekend and it was super hot in the desert so we decided just to go for the day on Saturday. Only Gus raced. His good buddy, Carter, had gotten a new bike so they were both having a blast. Here are a fe pictures with Gus and Carter.

Easter photo shoot
It is rare for the whole family to be dressed up, so we thought we would take advantage of it and get some good pictures. Here are some of the best ones.
Easter 2014
We had a wonderful Easter. Judy came over from the island for a visit and it was a beautiful warm weekend. The Easter Bunny tied a string to Gus' door and he had to follow it all around the house and then outside to his basket which was hidden. That silly Easter Bunny. Here are a few pictures of him searching for it.
El Mirage Dry Lake Bed
Thor and Gus went to El Mirage Dry Lake Bed near Barstow for a few days. Gus loved being able to go "full throttle". Here is a little video of him racing across the the whole lake. The first few seconds are a little wobbly, but then once the Gus gets going it is cool.
Here are a few fun pictures too. The boys had a blast. Gus just continues to get more comfortable on the bike.
