As many of you know, Thor busted his bike last fall. He has been putting it back together slowly hoping to race soon. He finally has all the parts and is very close to getting it together. However, he needed a little extra help and had to hire a specialist. One with tiny hands to get in all those hard to reach parts. You know how expensive specialists can be, fortunately this one worked in the currency of chocolate chips.

Our Backyard
There are many reasons why we count our blessings everyday. Moving to Idyllwild is just one of them. When we wake up and look out our back door and see this, we just have to smile and say thank you. Gus thinks it is so cool. Don't you think it is time to come visit Poppy?
How Thor keeps in shape
Thor has been trying to keep in shape for his racing. Gus is doing his best to help out. Notice Thor chasing Gus around the house. They did this for a good half hour. It was great, it tuckered both of them out.
Dinner Party
We started last week off with a little dinner party. We had some friends come over with their two little girls. Also in attendance, was our friend Jaime. Poor Jaime didn't know what she was getting herself into having dinner with 3 kids under 5. At one point, after cooking all day and enjoying the fruits of his labor, Thor laid on the floor. All 3 kids took this as an invitation to hop on Pop! It was hilarious! Here are a few pictures. Notice Gus putting the moves on Naya in the second picture.

Breakfast of Champions
Many of you know about my obsession with smoothies. I usually make one everyday for breakfast. Gus has taken to helping me lately. He has gotten so good that he can practically make them by himself. He is becoming such a good little helper.
"Fishing"
We finally had some rain this past week and our little creek behind the house had some water in it. Gus and I want for a hike to see and he decided we needed to go fishing. We caught 3 leaf fish, 1 pine needle fish and 2 stick fish. We were so busy I didn't get a picture of the catch.
Massage for Mommy
After trying to clean the house and change the sheets this Saturday morning, Gus saw Mommy taking a "break". Daddy suggested that Gus give Mommy a massage. We often give him massages after bath time, so he is well aware of how good it feels. If only his hands were a little bigger.
| This is how he thought a massage should end. |
