Valentine's Day 2013

We had a nice Valentine’s Day.  Gus and Thor made mini heart shaped gourmet pizzas for dinner.  They were great!  We had some chocolate covered strawberries as a special treat.  And best of all, I got a Bruce calendar.  What more could a girl ask for?  Half way through dinner, Gus yanked up his pants and showed me his new “tattoo”.  Then, to my surprise, all the boys showed me their Viking tattoos!  Thanks Grandma Judy.  Here are the pictures.

Marlin getting a little tummy time on Daddy

Gus enjoying pastina soup.  This kid can eat his weight in pastina.  Notice the extra large bowl he is eating from.  He thinks the pastina is plankton.  The really funny thing about this picture is that he doesn’t have any pants on.  He needed to change his pants because he was playing in the mud, but he couldn’t wait to put new ones on before he ate some pastina.

 

Grandma Judy was here for a week resting.  Even though she wasn’t able to pick Marlin up, she still had some good bonding time with him.

Getting Bigger

Marlin continues to amaze us.  He is such an easygoing guy except for when he is tired, then his feistiness comes out. 

He is starting to roll over and eat solid foods.  He is also really starting to play with toys, trying to figure them out.

Random Jaunary Pictures

These are just a bunch of random pictures. 

Marlin is still old school, he hasn’t upgraded to a cell phone.  But, hey, he can use it while he sleeps.  

Gus received some late Christmas gifts from Uncle Sammy.  They were well worth the wait!  He loves them.  

The Viking hat that Marlin is wearing was given to us from the Barker’s.  It is one of the funniest things I have seen.  Who thinks of this stuff?

Marlin has taken to his little blue blanket just like Gus did with Gray blankie.  We were smart this time and bought a back up one, just in case.

We have a picture of Gus in big sauce pan when he was Marlin’s age, so we decided to throw him in this pan.

Gus being silly Gus!  He has gotten the hang of how to use the mask and snorkel (out of the water anyway).

I know Marlin looks huge in this picture but it is just the angle.  However, he is getting bigger everyday.  You can see his scare in this picture too.  Makes him look tough if he didn’t have that goofy grin on his face!

Gram Time

We have been fortunate to have lots of Gram time this month.  These are just few pictures form her visits.  The ones of her and Gus on the bed are from Friday night video night.  They were watching the Frozen Planet.  Awesome series, Gus highly recommends it.

Flop Time with Daddy

I often wonder what the boys do all day when I am at work.  I realize that they spend most of the day flopping out!  Here are some pictures as proof.

Naked TIme

This photo shoot was not planned.  I was getting the boys ready for bath time and a naked Gus jumped up on the bed and started snuggling with his little brother.  I couldn’t help but grab the camera.  Gus has waited a long time to be able to grab his brother like that and it was so sweet to see.
